August at The Skin Nurse Clinic
Skin Longevity: Treat your skin like the long-term investment it is.
Great skin isn’t the result of one good treatment. It’s the result of consistent, intelligent care understanding what your skin needs and giving it exactly that, at the right time. This August, we’re focused on exactly that: treatments that work at depth, results that build over time, and a skincare routine worthy of the skin you’re investing in.

Skin Boosters
Choose From Profhilo, Sunekos or Polynucleotides
Skin boosters deliver deep hydration and cellular repair from within. Your nurse selects the right booster for your skin: Sunekos, Polynucleotides or Profhilo. Based on a full skin assessment at your consultation.
What it treats
- Intense dehydration that topical products can’t resolve
- Loss of elasticity and firmness
- Crepey or sagging skin quality
- Dull, flat complexion that doesn’t respond to skincare
What you will notice:
- Skin that feels more hydrated from the first session
- Progressive improvement in skin quality, texture and tone over 4-6 weeks
- A rested, restored look, without looking like you’ve had anything done
Your nurse will assess your skin at consultation and select the right Skin Booster whether it is Sunekos, Polynucleotides, or Profhilo.
Mesotherapy – Introductory Offer
Mesotherapy is a medical skin treatment that delivers a precise cocktail of active ingredients vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin using micro-injections. Unlike skin boosters, which focus on deep structural hydration and firmness, mesotherapy works at a cellular level to correct specific skin concerns from within.
What it treats
- Dull, tired, and lacklustre skin
- Pigmentation and uneven skin tone
- Early signs of ageing fine lines, loss of radiance
- Hair thinning (scalp mesotherapy)
Mesotherapy vs skin boosters
Both treatments work beneath the surface but they target different concerns. Skin boosters restore deep hydration and structural quality. Mesotherapy corrects, brightens, and renews at a cellular level. Many of our clients benefit from both, tailored to their specific skin goals.

IV Therapy – The Skin Longevity Drip
Medical-led. Pre-screening is required.
IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and hydration directly into the bloodstream bypassing the digestive system entirely for maximum absorption. What you apply to your skin and what you take orally can only do so much. IV therapy works at a systemic level, supporting the processes that make great skin possible from the inside out.
What it supports
- Skin radiance, clarity, and hydration from within
- Hair and nail strength and condition
- Energy, immunity, and overall vitality
- The biological foundations of long-term skin health
Why it fits the skin longevity approach
At The Skin Nurse Clinic, we treat skin as a whole not just a surface. IV therapy is part of that philosophy. It supports everything your skin needs to perform: cellular repair, collagen synthesis, antioxidant protection. It’s not a shortcut. It’s a foundation.

Medical Grade SPF
SPF is not seasonal.
The UV that causes cumulative skin damage doesn’t stop when summer does. If you’re investing in treatments that correct pigmentation, improve texture, and restore radiance daily SPF is what protects that investment. Without it, you’re treating and undoing in the same breath.

What is the best skin peel for beginners in Dublin?
If you’re new to skin peels, the Medical Peel at The Skin Nurse Clinic is the ideal starting point. It’s a gentle but effective treatment that brightens and smooths the skin without significant downtime. It’s also the most affordable option currently available for €99 in May at our Clontarf clinic.
How much does a skin peel cost in Dublin?
At The Skin Nurse Clinic in Clontarf, Dublin, our May skin peel prices start from €99 for an entry-level Medical Peel, €299 for the medium-depth Perfect Peel, and €339 for the clinical TCA Peel. All prices include a professional post-treatment recovery kit.
What skin peel is best for pigmentation in Dublin?
For stubborn pigmentation and uneven skin tone, the Perfect Peel is the most effective treatment available at The Skin Nurse Clinic. It targets melanin overproduction at a deeper level than an entry peel, and most clients see a visible improvement within 1–2 weeks. It’s available at a May offer price of €299, including post-care kit.
Do skin peels hurt?
Most clients experience a mild tingling or warmth during a skin peel not pain. The sensation depends on the depth of the peel. Our entry-level Medical Peel is very comfortable. The TCA Peel may feel more intense but is well tolerated. Your nurse will talk you through what to expect at your consultation.
How long is the recovery from a skin peel?
Recovery time depends on the depth of your peel. The Medical Peel typically involves little to no visible peeling most clients return to normal activities immediately. The Perfect Peel involves 3–5 days of skin shedding. The TCA Peel has a longer recovery of 5–7 days. Your post-treatment recovery kit supports skin healing throughout.
Do I need a consultation before a skin peel?
A consultation is required before a TCA Peel at The Skin Nurse Clinic. For our Medical Peel and Perfect Peel, a brief skin assessment will be carried out on the day of your appointment. We always take a thorough approach to understanding your skin before any treatment.
How quickly will I see results from skin boosters?
Most clients notice their skin feeling more hydrated within a few days of their first session. The visible improvement smoother texture, a more rested and even complexion builds gradually over the following weeks as your skin’s own repair process responds to the treatment. This is intentional: skin boosters work with your biology, not over it. For the best results, we recommend two sessions as part of your treatment plan, which your nurse will map out at your consultation.
Is Skin Boosters the right treatment if my skin just feels tired and dull after summer?
Yes, and it’s one of the reasons we feature skin boosters in July specifically. Summer depletes skin in ways that aren’t always obvious: UV exposure, heat, and dehydration slow cell renewal and draw moisture out of the deeper layers. Skin boosters address exactly that restoring hydration at a level no topical product can reach, and supporting the cellular repair your skin needs after a season of sun. Your nurse will assess your skin at consultation and confirm which formulation is right for you: Sunekos, Polynucleotides, or Profhilo.
What is IPL treatment and what does it do for skin?
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. It’s a non-invasive light-based treatment that targets pigmentation, redness, broken capillaries, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. At The Skin Nurse Clinic in Clontarf, Dublin, IPL is used as part of our Maintenance Package to correct existing skin damage and create a clearer, more even complexion. It works by delivering pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin, which breaks down pigment and stimulates collagen production over time. Most clients see progressive improvement across sessions.
What is ResurFX and how is it different from a regular laser treatment?
ResurFX is a non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing treatment. Unlike ablative lasers which remove the surface layer of skin entirely, ResurFX works beneath the surface, creating controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production without removing the outer skin layer. This means significantly less downtime than traditional laser resurfacing, while still delivering meaningful improvements in skin texture, fine lines, pore size, and overall skin quality.
What is the difference between ResurFX and Scarlet RF?
Both treatments stimulate collagen production and improve skin quality but they work differently. ResurFX uses fractional laser energy to target texture, fine lines, and overall skin resurfacing. Scarlet RF uses radiofrequency energy delivered via micro-needles to tighten skin, improve laxity, and refine pores, making it particularly effective for clients with skin looseness or who want a lifting and firming effect alongside resurfacing. At The Skin Nurse Clinic your nurse can advise which combination is right for your specific concerns.
Can I have skin treatments before going on holiday?
It depends on the treatment. The Fire & Ice Facial has no downtime and can be done close to travel, it’s one of our most popular pre-holiday treatments at the clinic. Treatments involving peeling or laser resurfacing (such as the medical peel, ResurFX, or IPL) require a gap before significant sun exposure, typically two to four weeks minimum. At The Skin Nurse Clinic we always advise on timing as part of your consultation to make sure your results are protected and your holiday isn’t compromised. Book a pre-holiday consultation and we’ll build the right plan around your travel dates.
