To ensure optimal results and minimize potential side effects after your Radiesse or Radiesse Rinse treatment, follow these important restrictions for the first 24-48 hours:

  • Avoid strenuous physical activity, exercise, or heavy lifting
  • Do not massage or apply pressure to the treated areas unless specifically instructed by your practitioner
  • Avoid excessive heat exposure including saunas, hot showers, sunbathing, or tanning beds
  • Refrain from consuming alcohol, which can increase bruising and swelling
  • Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (if medically safe to do so)
  • Do not schedule dental work for at least 2 weeks post-treatment
  • Avoid facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser procedures for at least 2 weeks
  • Do not apply makeup for at least 6 hours after treatment (preferably 24 hours)
  • Avoid sleeping on your face or side if possible (back sleeping is recommended)
  • Postpone air travel for at least 24 hours if possible

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Are under 18 years old
  • Have severe allergies or a history of anaphylaxis
  • Have a bleeding disorder or are taking blood thinners
  • Are allergic to any ingredients in Radiesse or lidocaine
  • Have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring
  • Are immunocompromised or have autoimmune conditions (requires medical evaluation)
  • Plan to undergo dental surgery in the near future (particularly for treatments around the mouth area)
