Is there any downtime?

No, there’s no downtime, and you can resume your normal activities after treatment. Approximately 3 days later, you will notice some skin exfoliation and may choose to limit your activities.

I’m interested in having a chemical skin peel but will it hurt?

There’s no need for any anaesthetic, you may experience a hot, itchy, stingy sensation that lasts a short while, followed by a stinging sensation. A cold compress afterwards can help to ease this.
